When it gets dark and the air cools, sappers launch drones with thermal imagers. On the screens , the mines heated by the sun during the day become noticeable and seem to "shine" . The discovered mines are undermined by special charges.

Correspondents say that trench fighting and enemy-mined areas remain the main problem for Ukrainian troops: "They are surrounded by mines. Don't try to tell them that the counteroffensive must be faster."
