You are correct. Sad irony is they tried to cross several times at the same exact location with the same result. I cut the video , but this was 2nd or 3rd attempt to cross, and the guy recording it was saying that they are trying again and was praying the whole time - waiting for strike. Common sense is not common, because the fact is they were using the same location .... Even gps settings on artillery didn't need to be switched

@warleaks: I was looking into this crossing & saw some of the things you've said. I think the 2nd time even more died! They shows piss poor planning by the Russian military shot -callers.
