Its unclear whats happening, or if the ground operations srarted . In my opinion, this might be Israel targeting Gaza metro ( 311 mile network - 70 m deep underground tunnel network ) that hamas uses to securely move through out the area, move ammunition etc

HAMAS tunnels would be the main target of of Israeli ground assault to target Hamas comand centers and hostage rescue attempts.

Israel would probably use US made Bunker Busters ( GBU-28 ) missiles to disrupt the Hamas tunnel network before the IDF ground assault.
