Once person gets sentences , they get sent to serve their time in prison /colonies all over Russia. In this case , political prisoners have been getting moved to pre trial jail in Moscow without any signals of new charges or hearings. same thing happened when Brittany disappeared from her colony and ended up in Moscow, right before the swap .

WSJ reporter charges are pretty crazy, he was writing an article about Russian tank manufacturing plant and tried to covered PMC Wagner group center. Russia claims that tank plant is protected under "Gov Secret" statue , so that's why he is getting charged with espionage. it just looks like they are trying to build up Prisoner exchange fund , to swap all Russian FSB sleeping agents who were recently arrested in the US while trying to bypass import sanctiona.

Oganizer of the last interview with American journalist Evan Gershkovich, a political strategist from Yekaterinburg, Yaroslav Shirshikov. He to smithereens smashed the FSB version that the journalist was engaged in espionage activities. On the day of his arrest, Gershkovich arrived to meet with Yevgeny Roizman. Moreover, Gershkovich sent official requests to the Ministry of Defense and received permission for interviews concerning this department in the region. A good "spy" is one who notifies the Ministry of Defense of his plans in an official letter and asks permission.

According to Shirshikov, the WSJ correspondent had no interest in military-industrial complex enterprises. He spoke in detail about Gershkovich's visit and explained that he was interested in the personality of Prigozhin and the latter's attempts to influence Yekaterinburg. According to Yaroslav, at the official request of Evan, an interview with a representative of the Ministry of Defense in the region was agreed, but 15 minutes before the meeting, the military canceled everything. Gershkovich also revealed the purpose of the American's second visit to Yekaterinburg, which was being treated as a mystery. The political strategist stated that he was aware of Evan's plans to return in order to meet with Yevgeny Roizman.

The Russian Foreign Ministry, quoted by state newswire RIA Novosti, said that it would provide consular access to Mr. Gershkovich in accordance with internal procedures.

Some 48 hours after he was detained, Mr. Gershkovich still hadn’t been granted consular access, U.S. officials said. Consular service is typically the first of a series of steps to elevating the case of anyone who might be deemed “wrongfully detained,” an official State Department designation that typically unlocks some U.S. government resources to work on the case.

Still at Lefortovo is a US citizen, former top manager of VAM Group Gene Spector. He was convicted back in June 2021 for giving bribes to Anastasia Alekseeva, the former assistant to former Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich. And recently, for some reason, Spector was transferred from the colony to the main pre-trial detention center of the Russian Federation.

After quarantine, another American correspondent for the Wall Street Journal, Evan Gershkovich, who was detained on a fictitious case of treason, will also be in the cells of the pre-trial detention center.

Also, the FSB is actively taking to the pre-trial detention center a citizen of Ukraine who was previously held in other places.

Citizens of Ukraine Kaev and Kovalsky, who were previously in isolation wards in other cities, were delivered to Lefortovo. Both were arrested at different times by the Kievsky District Court of Simferopol and until recently were kept under arrest in the Crimea. Kaev and Kovalsky are accused of some kind of "attempt to commit an act of international terrorism."

Igor Gorlov, a resident of Melitopol, was brought to Lefortovo. A year ago, he disappeared at the same time as Andrei Golubev, chairman of the Melitopol Kung Fu Federation.
